HAH! xmlhttprequest rocks! Inspiration strikes again, mostly in the guise of technical innovation. Planned game design remains the same, but with the knowledge of the xml back end updates, the interface is planned as a considerably richer interaction.

Delays

So massive delays. Bluntly, I lost inspiration for awhile, sometimes its hard to keep pushing by myself, and I just needed a break. I''''m currently playing EQ2 to get back to having fun, but hope to get back to Dom and other game design soon.

If any artists are interested in some work, I could use some help in that area. Icon type stuff, not really grand, but needed to help flesh things out.

Back soon I hope.

Alpha Testing...

...has began. Yes, the game such as it is is live with just a few folks to start testing mechanics. At this point the research, armory, resource, and militia modules are active, with architecture on the way, after that armies and combat.

Login System

Big upgrade to the login system and mechanics, including the lost password and lost username.

Have also moved from utilizing email as the primary auth ident over to a seperate username. This is intended to allow email to be used for community purposes, and still seperating the login mechanism to keep it secret.

These upgrades also allow the backend system to be extensible, so that the same account can be used to access multiple games. Potentially handy since I''''ve got 4 of them in the works at various stages of development.

Now if I can just finish them....
